Dream Big!

We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.
Jesse Owens

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.
Eleanor Roosevelt

There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why… I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?
Robert Kennedy

We all have dreams. Some people choose to go for their dreams, and others choose to wish upon their dreams.  Dreams give us the inspiration to try to better our life, and to help us realize what we can do in life. It seems to me that we need a tenacious attitude, and a no quit ability to see a vision, act on that vision, and see your dream come to a great reality. You really can do anything in life that you set your heart and soul to. It just depends on how hard you want to work. Never give up, never stop trying, never get discouraged with no hope, as you are closer than you think to accomplishing your goal, that will change your life forever. All it takes is one idea, to revolutionize your life forever. Dream big, and before you know it, you will be on top of the mountain! Keep dreaming, keep reaching, and live the life that you are destined to lead. You can do it!

God and You!

All Christians believe in God, but many Christians have little time for God. They are too busy with everyday affairs to be taken up with Bible reading, prayer, and being thoughtful to their fellowmen. Many of them have lost the spirit of a zealous discipleship. If you ask them if they are Christians, they would probably answer, “I think so,” or, “I hope so.” They may go to church at Easter and Christmas and on other special occasions, but otherwise they have little time for God. They have crowded God out of their lives.

The Bible warns against neglect of your soul. It is possible to harden your heart and shrivel your soul, until you lose your appetite for the things of God. This hunger, then, that you should have is a desire to be always right with God. It is a consciousness that all searching for peace of heart, except in Him, is in vain.

Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you.
Carl Sandburg

Where does time go? Our life seems to pass along at a frenzied pace. What have we done with our life? The older you get, the faster time goes by. It seems to me that our life is all about who we have helped, and which individuals we have tried to encourage and inspire. As an educator, I am constantly challenged by trying to inspire individuals to find their gifts and there talents in life. Life is short, and how will you be remembered? It really comes down to the question of, have we really made a difference in our society and with our world? So many people drift through life with no direction, just wishing that things work out in their profession, and in their personal life. No book or course teaches you how to choose the right direction for your life. It is a combination of the right choices, decisions, and meeting the right people at the right time!

Life and happiness really does center around giving. As we give, we gain so much enjoyment in seeing other people happy. Try to make a difference in a life today. It will change your life as well as change lives around the world!

Faith

The Bible teaches that faith will manifest itself in three ways. It will manifest itself in doctrine—in what you believe. It will manifest itself in worship—your communion with God and the fellowship of the church. It will manifest itself in morality—in the way you live and behave. . . . The Bible also teaches that faith does not end with trust in Christ for your salvation. Faith continues. Faith grows. It may be weak at first, but it will become stronger as you begin to read the Bible, pray, go to church, and experience God’s faithfulness in your Christian life. You will learn more and more how to rely on Christ for every need, in meeting every circumstance, and every trial.

The broken home has become the number one social problem of America, and could ultimately lead to the destruction of our civilization. Since the basic unit of any society is the home, when the home begins to break, the society is on the way to disintegration. It is a threat to the American way of life. It does not make screaming headlines; but, like termites, it is eating away at the heart and core of the American structure.

It is high time that our so-called experts on marriage, the family, and the home turn to the Bible. We have read newspaper columns and listened to counselors on the radio; psychiatrists have had a land-office business. In it all, the One who performed the first marriage in the Garden of Eden and instituted the union between man and wife has been left out.
